Nexsone is a Gambian technology company founded in The Gambia. We build a social commerce platform focused on commerce infrastructure. Our role is to develop the platform ourselves—no external dependencies, no subsidiaries, no portfolio companies. We build. That's it.
Our Story
Built from the ground up for the long haul.
Nexsone was founded in The Gambia with a clear vision: to build commerce infrastructure that works for emerging markets and scales globally. Before the formal founding, there was an extensive phase of research, validation, and technical framing—studying what commerce infrastructure actually needs in Africa and across developing economies. We analyzed the gaps, the failures, and the opportunities. We asked what it would take to build something that lasts, starting from The Gambia. The answer was Nexsone.
The company began under an earlier operating name. As we refined our direction and market position, we evolved the brand to Nexsone—a sharper identity that reflects our focus on architecting infrastructure that is precise, reliable, and built for the future. From The Gambia, we are architecting the platform ourselves—no partners, no acquisitions. Just us, architecting for Africa and the world.
"We build a platform that builds the future."
Research & Foundation
Before founding, we researched the commerce infrastructure landscape in The Gambia and across Africa—identifying gaps, existing failures, and what needed to be built from scratch. We studied the problems and concluded we needed to build the solution ourselves.
Formation in The Gambia
The company was formally established in The Gambia. We began structuring our approach to architecting the infrastructure ourselves with a long-term view from day one—focused on creating lasting value rather than quick wins.
Brand Evolution & Growth
We evolved our brand identity to Nexsone—a sharper name for a focused mission. Today, we continue architecting and operating the commerce infrastructure platform from The Gambia with a commitment to long-term value creation for Africa and beyond.
